biasa kat mana Negara2 kalau naik Skytrain ada diberitahu sila bagi keutamaan tempat duduk ni untuk warga tua,wanita hamil,warga OKU tapi di Bangkok tambah satu lagi untuk

Kita ketika ini tiada sebarang perolehan baru MBT untuk parade, Rudal atau Pesawat baru berbilion ringgit yang boleh dinikmati oleh setiap rakyat....

... tetapi rakyat bakal menikmati prasarana sistem pengangkutan awam baru MRT, tambahan kepada 4 sistem rel sedia ada komuter, ERL, Monorel dan LRT.. kejamnya pembangunan di Malaysia!!! he he

pembangunan MRT akan meningkatkan GDP kita secara langsung. jadi budget MAF pun akan meningkat pada masa depan.
Anyway part of the deals is Siemens will built the train locally.
I think SMH will be the 1 who assemble it. part will be import from german.

Jln Peel will close 1 lane for MRT works

Another announcement of a temporary lane closure for MRT-related activity. This one takes place in Jalan Peel, with one lane set to be blocked off from November 21 to December 2 to facilitate cabling works along a 100 metre stretch of the road. The work is part of the construction process for the underground Maluri station.

The particular lane will be closed for 24 hours daily during the period. As per the usual, safety barriers, hoardings and traffic cones will be installed at the work site to ensure road users and pedestrians are well-informed of on-going works.

MRT Corp signs power deal with TNB

Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) and Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) today signed an Electricity Supply Agreement for the construction and operations of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line.

In a joint statement today, they said the agreement today also provided for the supply of power for the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line until 2050.

The user connection charge for power supply for both construction and operation is RM173.1 million.

This is based on a Special Tariff–Customised Commercial Traction Tariff, the statement said.

Under the agreement, TNB would be supplying for a maximum demand level of 116.5MW.

These would be supplied through seven 33kV Main Switching Substations which would be built at the Sungai Buloh Depot, Taman Industri Sungai Buloh Station, Section 16 Station, Semantan Portal, Cochrane Launch Shaft, Taman Cuepacs Station and Kajang Station.

In addition, TNB would be also constructing two 132/33kV Transmission Main Intakes which would be built at the Semantan Portal and Cochrane Launch Shaft.

Construction is expected to be completed by July 31, 2017.

Power supply for the construction of the MRT is expected to begin by the end of this year.

Meanwhile commencement of power supply for MRT operations would coincide with the operationalisation of the first phase of the MRT line from Sungai Buloh to Semantan by Dec 31, 2016.

Chief Executive Officer of MRT Corp Datuk Azhar Abdul Hamid thanked TNB for the cordial atmosphere during the negotiations which preceded the inking of the Electricity Supply Agreement.

"The MRT is a government project which is for the benefit of the rakyat. I’m very happy that TNB recognised this and agreed to the Special Tariff for the MRT," he said.

Meanwhile, TNB’s Senior General Manager (Operations - Region 1),
Distribution Division, Datuk Ir Mustafa Din said TNB was honoured and proud to be able to be part of the MRT project.

"This is a major government infrastructure project that will benefit the rakyat and boost the nation’s development," he added. Bernama
