All 17 MotoGP race riders are present at the Sepang test, which marks the first time Valentino Rossi has ridden in Ducati red and Casey Stoner in full Repsol livery.

Stoner moved ahead of Lorenzo in the final 30 minutes.

Testing continues on Wednesday and concludes on Thursday evening...

In an exclusive interview with crash.net, Valentino Rossi spoke of his testing difficulties. New bike, new team and a rooted shoulder.

I'm good... except the shoulder!” began Rossi, who is riding in full Ducati colours for the first time. “Anyway, I am on the normal time for recovery. It was hard surgery and needs time.

“My doctor said that if I wanted to be fit for this test I had to do the surgery after Sepang or Phillip Island [last year], so miss the last two or three races.

“But I wanted to finish the championship, so I expected this test to be difficult.

“I was quite negative after I tried the Superbike at Misano last week because I had a lot, a lot, a lot of pain. But we are happy today because I can make some important tests and good work for the bike.

“For sure I'm very far from 100 percent, but I can ride the bike.”

Rossi revealed that the limited movement from his shoulder means he loses half a second on the straight simply because he cannot tuck himself in behind the fairing. Braking and turn-in is also difficult.

Despite his condition, Rossi stated that he was able to improve the front-end feeling on the bike, which is widely considered to be the Desmosedici's biggest weakness.

“We didn't try the new fork, but we improved the front feeling in some other way,” he said. “We also improved the wheelieing and acceleration.

“Here in Ducati they have a lot, a lot, of different stuff. Now we need to fix part-by-part rider position, handlebar position, footpeg position... This is the work we do now to have a good base.”

Crash.net then asked Rossi what he will try tomorrow.

“Ahhh, 150 things!” he smiled. “We will continue like this, but we have some tyres from Bridgestone, different fork, some different stuff also for the engine.

“We have a lot of work, but we have a 'short life', only 30-40 laps [to fit it all in].”

Rossi rode for 30 laps on Tuesday, the least of any rider except his Yamaha replacement Ben Spies, who completed 29.

Yamaha’s 2011 MotoGP Livery Unveiling

Yup, it’s official folks: Yamaha will run without a title sponsor
for the 2011 MotoGP season (at least initially), as the team’s official
race livery was unveiled at Sepang today (actually, we’re releasing
these photos ahead of the official announcement, so in a way this post
is coming from the future), along with the official unveiling of the 2011 Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP race bike.
Trading a corporate sponsor for a “50th Year in Road Racing
Championship Grand Prix” emblem, Yamaha has seemingly been unable to woo
a title backer onto its carbon fiber fairings after Fiat’s departure, despite winning the team, rider, and manufacturer Championships in the 2010 season. Check out the full gallery after the jump.
Today’s announcement speaks not only a
tremendous volume about the economic climate around MotoGP and
motorcycling as a whole, but also about where the star power currently
resides in the MotoGP World Championship. While Yamaha has struggled to
patch together a variety of sponsors, obviously the lack of a title
sponsorship has dominated the news.
Contrast this result with Ducati, whose retention of Valentino Rossi’s services has lead to a plethora of deals directly with the Ducati Corse crew (here & here), but also other corporate dealings have likely been helped by the Italian Duo’s synergistic relationship.

Minyak petrol - bergantung kepada sponsor di setiap litar lumba, kalau kt m'sia semua team akan pki petronas nyer minyak TAPI ron x sama mcm biasa tau, racing grade yerk...

Minyak itam - yup, team yamaha menggunakan minyak petronas UNTUK tujuan testing (fasa test), masa lumba kawe x berapa pasti TAPI semua motor yamaha skrg dilekatkan dgn stiker 'use petronas oil'... dlm manual pun ada mention... thats long term punya perjanjian...
