SERDANG: A single mother and her two sons were injured during a scuffle with three knife-wielding robbers at their house in Taman Lestari Putra, Seri Kembangan here yesterday.
The identity card found in the sling bag left behind by the suspected robbers.
1 / 1
One of the victims, a 35-year old man, was warded for slash wounds while his 61-year old mother and brother in his 20’s received outpatient treatment for head and facial wounds.
The attackers were believed to be foreigners. One of them accidentally dropped his sling bag containing his cellphone and Indonesian identity card.
Serdang police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Razak Elias said the woman was attacked when she came down the double-storey terraced home, to check out some noises.
“During the commotion, her 35-year old son rushed down and fought off the robbers and was slashed several times.
“His younger brother was also slashed on his head when he came to their help and the robbers fled with the woman’s gold chain and other valuables,” he said.
He said police recovered the sling bag believed to belong to one of the suspects containing the handphone and the ID belonging to Syafruddin, 28, from Tarusa village in Buer, Sumbawa.
Checks with the Immigration Department showed the man entered the country two months ago.
Police with the K9 unit later scoured the area including three kongsi houses nearby.

dari Lyn
Greetings K,
My car was been hijacked just now at 9:30pm (6th
August 2012). Black Mitsubishi Triton VGT WWR3480. It happened right
infront of Maktab PDRM Cheras highway (Before Plaza Phoenix), opposite
PGA Camp.
I was on the way to KL. Suddenly I was hit from the
back by White Nissan Sentra WHY9166. I stopped at road side. First I
looked around and it's still early and busy traffic all along the
highway. But once I unlock the car suddenly there is another car stopped
infront of me (couldnt remember the car) and came out 2 Indian guy
pulled me out while one of them push me off on the road, the two other
from Nissan Sentra (Indian too) came out from the car to pull me off.
Then one drove my car away and the other three went into the Nissan
Sentra.
Phone and wallet were still in the car too.
Thankfully
they didnt hurt or in use of any weapons against me. The highway was
busy, so appreciate if any witness of the incident at that particular
time can provide me and info regarding the carjackers. It was my fault
for stopping but I didnt expect it happened on a very busy scene. And
please have a lookout but I highly doubt It'd be found.
Please be extra careful everyone, criminals are getting desperate and everywhere is unsafe nowadays.
I can be reached via PM, or 0192216517 (Dad's mobile).
Thanks and be extra careful everyone.
Added info about the car -
1. Black sport bar instead of usual chrome (at the back)
2. Black utility box.
3. Chrome door handle cover.
4. Side and front view mirror on front left (above headlight)

You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .

Dear all, my sister has been uncontactable for the past 3 days and I would appreciate if you could share this photo with your friends to widen our search perimeter. Police investigations are in progress at the moment as well.
We suspect that she might have boarded a taxi on the 7th August 2012 from Hougang Ave 2 between 8am - 1pm. We would appreciate if this photo could reach the taxi community to help identify her.
Thank you for your help!

The Police Volunteer Reserve (PVR) (Malay: Sukarelawan Polis) is a
special police as well as a supporting unit of the full-time Royal
Malaysian Police force where normal citizens could volunteer to help to
maintain peace and security of their respective neighbourhoods and
public areas. The PVR is composed of professionals such as the lawyers,
teachers, doctors, businessmen, and senior government officers. Caused
very deep interest on this police field has called that group to join
this field.
The PVR existence not only provides opportunity to
give insight into the life of a policeman, it even gives space to cement
a relationship between police and society. PVR members are bound by the
same rules and regulations as the police force when they are on duty
and must display a good image.

Where is our little William?
PETALING JAYA: Every time the telephone rings in their motorcycle
workshop in Subang Jaya, Yau Kok Kang and his wife Goh Ying Ying pray
that it is someone with good news about their six-year-old son, William
Yau Zhen Zhong, who has been missing since last Wednesday.
As Goh sobbed, her 32-year-old husband, himself tearful, said: “I wish I can turn the clock back ... I take all the blame.”
He
recalled the day when joy turned into a nightmare. The family of five
had had dinner in Puchong to celebrate their eldest son, seven-year-old
Eric's elevation as a class monitor.
On the way home, Yau and Goh stopped at an electrical shop in Putra Heights here to look at some washing machines.
They locked their children, including one-year-old daughter Cindy, in the car, leaving the windows open.
When they returned about 15 minutes later, William was nowhere to be seen.
According to Eric, William had gone looking for their parents because Cindy had started crying non-stop.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The 26-year-old mother said she usually never left her children in the car alone.
“It was just this one time because we knew we would be quick.”
Goh said she had rushed back into the shop looking for William and shouting his name but he was not there.
After
lodging a police report, she and her family, along with their
neighbours and friends, had gone all around the area looking for
William, even in the drains and dumpsters.
“It has been three
days since my son went missing. I have not slept since. I have been
waiting by the phone, praying for someone to call me with some good
news,” said Goh.
William's story went viral on the Internet after Goh posted a photo of her son on Facebook on Wednesday night.
Yau,
who appeared exhausted and depressed, said the couple had been
receiving angry text messages, criticising them for leaving the children
alone in the car .
He pleaded to anyone with information on William's whereabouts to contact them immediately.
“If you have my son, please return him to us. We are ready to negotiate, we just want our son back,” he said.
William was wearing a yellow t-shirt when he went missing and has a scar on the left side of his forehead from a fall.
Anyone with information can contact 03-5631 9800 or 012-2197133.
The couple will meet MCA Public Complaints and Services Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong today to seek his help.

that it is someone with good news about their six-year-old son, William
