"Do you need a SLR?"

The term SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex or Self Loading Rifle. Single Lens Reflex refers to a camera which consists of a viewing system in which the object is seen through the lens.

From the lens, the image is reflected through a mirror and then it is passed through a prism. The prism restores the original or the normal view of the object. The SLR technique is mainly used in the 32 mm cameras. In these cameras, one lens is used for both focusing and taking the picture.

In the SLRs, the light is reflected between the functions through a mirror which is mainly placed at an angle of 45 degree. The mirror is an adjustable, which can be adjusted according to the requirements. The mirror reflects the light on the eye pieces lens of camera which leads the photographer to see the exact object of which the image is to be taken.

Advantage:

1. The main advantage of a SLR over other types of cameras is that the image captured by this camera is the same that is actually captured on the film. There is no negative action that can be performed through the use of these cameras at the time of printing.

2. Nowadays, SLR types of cameras are computerised version of cameras with memory cards instead of video tapes for recording. They also consist of several lenses which can be used depending on the position of the object.

3. The main difference between the Digital SLR and other cameras are: the SLRs are much faster at the time of starting, while focusing the object, taking the pictures, even taking multiple pictures as compared to the other normal cameras. They also provide a good light quality to focus at the object. But they are more costly as compared to the other normal cameras.

4. Also, one can immediately see the captured image over the LED for the quality purpose which is a major advantage of these cameras over the normal cameras. These cameras are mainly used by the photographers who use to shoot the models.

5. The main companies which are producing these cameras are Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Samsung, Panasonic, Pentax, and Sony. These SLR cameras are available nowadays at every local shop.

6. The SLR cameras consist of a shutter which is located just in front of the film, which is opened on the basis of the distance of the object from the camera. It may open a little or a lot. This ability of the camera, along with the focusing ring which helps on adjusting the distance of lens from the film and an aperture ring which changes the size of iris diaphragm inside the lens allows in taking fast action shots.

7. There are even some disadvantages of these cameras in comparison to the other cameras like they are expensive and large in size even. Also, if these cameras are once damaged, they are very difficult to get repaired. So, they require extra care.

sekarang pun pening2 lalat sama ada nak tambah lense atau nak tangkap DSLR baru. den punye 400D tu ok lagi, cuma dah berusia la. tengah usha 550D ngan 7D
