Proton 100% m'sia tapi dok canang sana sini kereta national, tuh yang org ramai bising, 25 tahun idup tapi hasil sumer xder identiti sendiri, last2 tambat balik dgn mitsu (terjual lagi saham kat mitsu)... Persona Replacemnt model aku dh tgk, kan ker aku post pasal kete nih aku tgk masa on the way ke KLIA arituh... BTW adik ipar aku bekas Jurutera Proton, byk dia citer kat aku masalah2 PROTON n nape dia belah join Perodua...

PROTON Holdings Bhd is strengthening its presence in the industry of local automotive model through multi-purpose (MPV) Exora, will produce another new model sedan by July next, with the introduction of price around RM80, 000 per unit. Model which will replace the Waja and said able to increase more market share in Proton local automotive industry and international, will display a copy of version Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GT is upgraded.

According to the nearest source, re-entry ‘feature Mitsubishi’dalam Proton is the result of cooperation development engineering Proton and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), which also shares holders.

“Model that will be used to replace the Proton Waja this will have some cosmetic changes to internal and external compared to model Lancer 2.0 GT in existing markets.

“Among them, it will use the engine with a capacity of slightly smaller, namely 1.8-liter, internal components using local product vendors and selected features which can make the model able to offer more competitive prices.

“Hence, new models that are not only seen best to provide competing against vehicles sedan by other foreign automotive companies, but it is also able to return images of Proton before,” he said at Berita Harian in Kuala Lumpur.

The source explained, the new production model with 1.8 liter engine power is viewed best catalyst for companies in the automotive nasionalitu meet changing needs and appetite buyer, especially to young generation. He said, Proton is getting strong support from MMC, is not expected to encounter any problems in meeting demand, since the Waja replacement model will be installed in the same factory at Shah Alam, Selangor or in Tanjung Malim, Perak.

“Looking to the agreement between Proton and MMC will not be a problem for Proton to assemble, sell and providing after sales services for Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GT Malaysia version.

“This is because MMC has been providing ‘license’ to support technically Proton for using, including installing and, promoting Lancer 2.0 GT will use the Proton brand,” he also added ‘licensing’ includes assistance in releasing components for Lancer 2.0 GT and local support and after sales services.

Currently, the existing model Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GT fully imported (CBU) from Japan, is priced at RM120, 598.10 without insurance in this country. Model is distributed by Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Ltd. MMC is a technical partner and shareholder of Proton when founded in 1983 until the national car manufacturer Proton releases their first car in 1985. However, a group of Japanese financial turmoil causes dispose of it at stake in Proton early 2004.

mmg kalo kirakan 25 tahun proton takde apa2 lagi, sejak management baru naik 4 tahun nih proton dah banyak berubah (tu pandangan aku aa) protection dari gomen buat proton nih jadik manja, takde saingan.

btw aku mmg looking forward tuk Wancer, walaupun rebadge tp at least bagi option utk entry car jepun yg mahal la jugak..

PROTON PERSONA REPLACEMENT ON TRACK.


We can safely confirmed that our buddies at the Proton’s R&D centre now have their hands busy with the new Persona replacement model. An earlier report mentioned that the car was slated for launch in 2012, but it seemed that Proton now wants to try to bring it forward so that we can see the car as early as end of next year.

The car is now in its test mule stage and Proton’s engineers are busy trying the dynamics of the car. Hopefully, the new Phoenix turbo engine will be available in the new Persona, but a new transmission system is definitely a go.

We have reported that Proton will stop using its current Mitsubishi sourced gearboxes and will move on to a Getrag 6-speed manual unit and a ZF sourced CVT gearbox.

tapi apa2 hal pun sebenarnya after sale yang penting.. kawe bukan nak kondem ke apa, kat tempat keje majoriti owner proton komplen sebab aftersale teruk.. macam mana customer nak lekat klu service dan waranti senang2 boleh cong.. klu yang arif pasal after sale service tu xpe la..

p/s:kete lain pun ada snag gak, ayat diatas hanya atas kepentingan penulis untuk bagi pencerahan.. cheers

Korean punya kereta walaupon 2nd hand value takde, tp depa still keluarkan premium cars yg improved setiap kali keluaran,

lambat lain 2nd hand value akan naik,

Dlu kerajaan korea lagi teruk protect Industri dia, sampai kereta Import susah nak masuk, tp bila protection dah lifted, Korean Industry nak tak nak kne improve kalau nak hidup, itu je cara nak bagi Proton nih!

betul tu atre, sampai bila nak kena protect proton ni.. pastu gaduh2 FDI x banyak masuk Malaysia, banyak FDI sektor otomotif lari kat negara jiran.. tapi lepas tukar management ni nampak la diorang ni buat keje.. apa kehal nak buat WRM,TRM,PRM dan sebagainya dulu.. buat je entry level, mid, premium dan mpv segment.. xyah nak serabut2 kepala otak.

Exora Replacement Model (upgrade version)... ada gak ura2 kata Caldina version by PROTON is Persona Replacement Model, ada gak kata Caldina design tuh ERM, exora punya upgrade... kita pakat teka teki sambil spy-shoot ambik gambar2 kat hiway...

Kalau dikutkan ada kemungkinan yer la mitsubishi ada gak term yg proton kena ikut mcm tu gak ngan proton .. masing2 ada keperluan so chance proton akan terikut-ikut balik design mitsu besar la jugak
