1. Ezora Prime [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Here’s the stuff that Proton Design added to the Exora Prime:
* Pearl White Exterior * Double Fin Front Bumper Grille * Corporate Graphic At FR Door Trim * High Gloss Black Side Mirrors * High Glass Black Roof * Wrap-around Satin Galvano Foglamp Garnish * Customised Side Skirts * Customised Rear Apron with Integrated Exhaust * Customised Satin Galvano Glass Trim * Clear Rear Brake Lamps * Tinted Glass * 17 inch Wheels with 215/45R17 tyres * 2-DIN DVD player with integrated GPS * Rear view mirror with integrated LCD for reverse camera * 1st and 2nd row pilot seats with integrated LCD and mobile theater system * Cooler box for the floor console
2. Proton Saga FL [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The 2011 new Proton Saga facelift, now known as the Proton Saga FL, has been officially launched in Malaysia, two weeks after its unveiling in Thailand. Featuring a number of exterior, interior and equipment changes, the Saga FL’s variant lineup has been given a revision: The base N-Line variant and range-topping SE variant have been dropped from the range, while the B-Line variant has been replaced by the Standard variant and the M-Line variant by the Executive variant.
Costing a premium of RM 1000 over the B-Line manual and automatic, the Saga FL Standard manual is priced at RM 37,998 and the automatic at RM 40,998. The Saga FL Executive manual goes for RM 40,698 and the automatic for RM 43,298, representing price increments of RM 1200 and RM 1300 over the M-Line manual and automatic, respectively.
Outside, the Saga FL receives a revised grille, new headlamps, a modified front bumper, restyled front fenders and a remodeled bonnet. The wheels are of a different design, while the side mirrors incorporate LED turn indicator. The rear end gets tail lights with LED lighting, a massaged bumper with reflectors and a muffler cutter. The Executive variant adds on front fog lamps, a lip spoiler on the boot lid and side protector mouldings for differentiation.
The Saga FL’s cabin now comes with a new fabric for the seats and door trim, rear power windows and an audio system with MP3 support. Most of the new items are reserved for the Executive variant, however, including steering wheel audio controls, USB/AUX audio ports and dual front airbags instead of just the driver’s airbag in the M-Line variant.
Other equipments that the Executive variant adds on over the Standard variant are 14" alloy wheels (13" steel wheels on Standard), driver’s seat height adjuster, electrically-adjustable side mirrors, a multi-purpose container and an immobiliser. Available for both variants are six selectable colours: Solid White, Tranquility Black, Genetic Silver, Granite Grey, Café Latte and Blue Rock; the last two are new colours.
The powertrain remains the same: a 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine, with 95 hp at 6000 rpm and 120 Nm at 4000 rpm at its disposal, is mated to either a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic gearbox. With the manual gearbox, the century sprint takes 13.0 seconds, with a top speed of 160 km/h. The figures are 14.5 seconds and 155 km/h with the automatic gearbox.
3. Jebat a.k.a Inspira-X [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] There is a passion for Proton to make cars that bears an uncanny resemble to those that emerge from the Mitsubishi stable. They have even come up with a new concept that has their own flavor of the Mitsubishi in it.
Proton the Malaysian automaker has come out with the concept named Jebat which is part of their own series of the “Pahlawan” models. They would be displaying the concept car at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show.
The Jebat engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged one and producing 237 hp. That is one difference and thereafter one would find a lot of resemblance with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
Yet the design is unique in that the Jebat concept has a matt black coat at both the front and rear of the car. This matches the strip which goes around the lower section of the doors. There are three bonnet vents and also the daytime LED lights are installed on the car. The rear spoiler has been taken from the Mitsubishi Evo performance package. The resemblance also extends to the wide body style front and rear fenders of the car. To give it a sporty look Proton company decided to go for an 18 inch wheel.
There is some internal modification also that has been applied like the Recaro seats having red stitch and a Clarion touch screen ICE system.
4. Perdana [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] According to a Cars Bikes Trucks, Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, Group Managing Director for Proton said the Malaysian government ministries will soon be getting a new Perdana to replace the current model. He revealed that Proton will import one model from Japan, rebadge it into a Proton and make it available only to government ministries with 2-litre and 2.4-litre engines. It is understood that model is based on a Japanese D-segment car which is also sold in Australia.
So what D-segment Japanese car is sold in Australia? It is most likely the Mitsubishi 380, though it was discontinued late last year. The other Japanese D-segments are Toyota Aurion (Camry), Subaru Legacy, Honda Accord and Nissan Teana. I doubt these Japanese models will be the new Perdana. I checked Mitsubishi’s website, and the Galant/380 is discontinued too. So where will Proton source the Galant/380 as the Perdana replacement? China?

perbezaan proton ngan perodua is :
Proton - rebadge kereta yang dah sedia ada/terjual + kualiti drop
Perodua - rebadge kete sama2 keluar dgn model asal + Dihatsu pemegang saham terbesar
p/s : rmi pengguna kete m'sia utamakan kualiti, diharap dgn joint venture Proton dgn Mitsu akan mengembalikan kualiti dan kepercayaan pengguna kepada Proton.
Proton today officially introduced the Proton R3 Satria Neo. Built by the company’s Motorsports Division under the Race, Rally, Research (R3) brand name, the car is distinctively recognizable by its striking Fire Red exterior with a black painted roof. The car was mentioned in an earlier report, but it looks like it’s now ready to roll.
The car runs the tried and tested 1600cc Campro CPS engine, with the R3 boys upgrading its performance, with the addition of Stage 2 performance upgrades increasing power from the standard 125 bhp and 150 Nm of torque to 145 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 168 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The block is coupled to a close ratio five-speed manual transmission.
The R3 Satria Neo’s promise of an exhilarating drive is further conveyed by its all-round CPS bodykit – an R3 designed rear roof spoiler, a front lip for improved down force, titanium coloured side strips and a more muscular stance as the result of a 10 mm drop in ride height.
The R3 engineers also made significant enhancements to ride and handling, with the use of specially-designed R3 performance springs for reduced body roll, recalibrated alignment, toe and camber settings for more grip and steering precision, and R3 edition 16-inch gunmetal lightweight alloys wrapped in softer compound Bridgestone Potenza RE001R 205/45 series profile tyres for better traction.
Inside, the R3 Satria Neo features a sporty, yet classy and alluring matte red and black two-tone interior, and R3 limited edition front bucket seats wrapped in nappa leather with ‘Trivel’ finish, carbon effect PVC and red stitching replaces the standard seats. There’s also matte red dashboard trims, gear console and handbrake handle, as well as two-tone door trim, R3 floor carpets, aluminium foot pedals/gear knob and an engine stop/start button.
Elsewhere, high performance brake pads, dual front airbags and ABS with EBD also get thrown in for good measure. The car also comes fitted with Ecotint solar and security film and a two-DIN audio head unit with 3D GPS navigation.
The R3 Satria Neo is priced at RM79,797 on-the-road inclusive of road tax and insurance, and can be viewed at Proton Edar’s Crystal showroom at the Proton Centre of Excellence, Shah Alam and any of the three Platinum showrooms located at Mutiara Damansara, Juru and Plentong. Bookings can be made immediately at any of Proton Edar’s 23 sales branches throughout Peninsular Malaysia with a fee of RM2,000 and purchasers can expect the car delivered to them within four weeks of obtaining loan approval.
